This therapy is based on Lakota Native healing. The application of highly antimicrobial essential oils reduces inflammation and kills the pathogens, thus providing symptom relief. This condition creates inflammation causing contortion and disfigurement along the spine. Developed by nutritionist Gary Young, the raindrop technique is based on the theory that many spinal misalignments are caused by pathogens that reside dormant along the backbone. This therapy uses a sequence of nine essential oils that have been clinically tested to have antiviral, antibacterial, and anti-inflammatory properties. These oils, which are high in antioxidants, are also mood elevating and antiseptic, creating an unfavorable environment for harmful viruses and bacteria that can hibernate in the body. Raindrop Therapy is a powerful, non-invasive tool using a sequence of essential oils that are immune enhancing, support the body's natural defenses, as well as the circulatory, respiratory, endocrine, digestive, nervous and other body systems. I won’t go back again, but it wasn’t because of the therapist, it’s due to the atmosphere and unprofessionalism of their cohabitants I usually never complain but being a massage therapist myself, I know those types of conditions not only prohibit relaxation but they can also block a therapists concentration and flow. I was given a 5% discount which wasn’t expected but appreciated. My poor therapist had to ask them to be quiet and stated that she often has to do that. Not 45 mins into the 90 min massage, it sounded like a construction zone in the room next door (maybe working on the hydraulic chiro table? Who knows). The walls are paper thin as it is an older building, but at one point I asked if they were having a party that we weren’t invited to. At the 25th street location, they share an office with a chiropractic center and they were beyond noisy and unprofessional. Although my therapist was good, the atmosphere/environment was absolutely terrible. Came here to relax and get away from reality.
